Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovation completes selection of 86 companies for support under the '2022 Industry-Tailored AI Workforce Training Voucher'

The Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovation announced that it has selected 86 companies for support under the ‘2022 Industry-Tailored AI Talent Development Voucher’ program.


The 2022 Industry-Tailored AI Talent Development Voucher support project is a new program overseen by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, and hosted by the Seoul Center. It provides customized practical training by matching companies/public research institutes with AI/SW education companies so that AI/SW professionals who can be immediately utilized in industrial and corporate settings can be trained.

The companies finally selected as demand companies this time include a total of 61 firms, such as ▲Cider Economy Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Eui-hyeon), ▲WELT Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Seong-ji), ▲Nepes Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Byeong-gu), ▲Mirae and Challenge Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Byeong-cheol), and ▲Visang Education Co., Ltd. (CEO Yang Tae-hoe).

And as supplier companies, a total of 25 firms were selected, including ▲YMSdotco Co., Ltd. (CEO Yeom Min-ho), ▲FinInsight Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Min-ho), ▲DX Solutions Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jong-in), ▲Algorithm Labs Co., Ltd. (CEO Son Jin-ho), ▲Saltlux Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Kyung-il), and ▲Vegas Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Do-hyun).


With a total budget of 3.5 billion KRW, this project provides all expenses necessary for carrying out the tasks to the finally selected companies, including instructor fees for developing and operating company-specific customized AI training courses, rental fees for practical training equipment and practice costs, and training material costs.


Kim Young-jun, Team Leader at the Seoul Center, said, “Through this training project, we will move forward so that it can provide customized support for AI utilization and adoption to companies that have not yet applied artificial intelligence or are expanding its application,” adding, “Next year, we will further expand support and strive to spread AI convergence.”
